The more time he spent here, the more Henry found himself growing idle, increasingly restless. He had never been a man given to staying still for long periods of time, always running off to some battle or another from the time he was strong enough to wield a sword, and that he had no choice in the matter now only made him all the more uncomfortable with it. Any number of people were stuck here, but he wasn't made for a life like this. He couldn't have managed to even stay home with his wife. To be stuck in a place like this, with a climate so foreign and nearly everyone from his future, was far worse.
Though he hadn't yet taken the time to get himself a real place to live -- couldn't bear to put that kind of permanence on it, though that didn't quite occur to him -- he could barely stand to spend longer than was necessary within the walls of the Compound, so cold and confined. So it was that, in clothing that he found entirely ridiculous but that seemed to be normal around here, he headed towards the beach. Looking out at the ocean only served to make him miss where he'd come from all the more strongly, but there was something nice about it all the same -- not quite calming, but close to it. He wasn't the only person coming through the trees to the beach, though, and without giving it much thought, he walked up to the woman not far off. Small talk wasn't something he had ever cared much for, but it was better than having no company at all. "It's lovely, isn't it?" he asked, gesturing with a tilt of his head towards the water in the distance. "All of this."
